I had this really great post

But of course when I went to spell check it deleted everything. So I will simplify it. I have started watching a friends child (C in all future posts). I have branched out and am now making hot pads, pillowcases and baby quilts. I have no time. I am so sad. I did get a new to me sewing machine a month ago. It is a Bernina 140. Love it compared to my crappy old machine. I don't know how mothers handle 2 kids. I understand why my mom read A LOT.
I will post more later now that I know I have a reader

I came across your blog because I went to my profile and clicked on "Some Kind of Wonderful" under FAVORITE MOVIES to see who else liked it - that's when I noticed you're my age. Anyway, I hope handling 2 kids gets easier as they get older. Right now my two are so dependent on me I don't have time to sleep or think straight. Yet here I am, blogging while my kid sleeps in my arms. Knitting - I keep coming across knitters blogs so there must be something about them that I'm drawn to but I'm sorry to have to admit that it definitely isn't the knitting. I want to say more but by now I've forgotten what I just read on your post. I remember enough to say that you have two readers now, at least, for a little while.

It gets easier for sure.
I have 3 kids 3,5,7.
1 who is "developmentally delayed"(the 3 yr. old boy)
1 who is battling back from a very serious illness (in the hospital 2 1/2 months etc...)
and 1 who we are trying not have get lost in the shuffle.
Saying all that not to toot my own horn but to say, you can do it! Remember what you are doing for that child. You are providing them with love and caring. It is true though it is impossible to love someone elses kids as much as your own :D Hang in there!! :)

Came across your blog b/c I wanted to meet someone who also likes BNL...and your my age, and a mom too!

I have 5 kiddos...it's crazy, nutty and I love it! Yes, it's hard work, but it keeps us out of trouble, right? ;)

I, too, have no interest in knitting..sorry! I have a 'new-to-me' sewing machine (from my Mom) and have no idea how to use it...someday, in my spare time! LOL!

Great to meet you!

Actually got an even newer sewing machine and oh boy the difference. It is a Pfaff expression 4.0 and I love it.
